This effort, in a way, not only would motivate me to learn new things but brushen up my literary skills (which are either rusty or have never developed since high school as you can see through the quality of this post). New books also cost a fortune whilst a lot of the information I'm looking for may just be a few clicks away, tucked in different articles. I may learn something but most of the time, it evaporates to the air within few hours. I hope to make posts on various topics basically me researching on something new and explaining the outcome to myself.Īll this while I've been consuming media or even reading books mindlessly. This time around, such purpose may still happen but the focus would shift to my self-development. It used to be my personal diary where I vent my happiness and sorrows (mostly this), and motivate myself to stand up again. I'm planning to bring life to this blog again. It's my time to sprint, and at 22 next year, my time is ticking fast. Those far behind may still reach far and even further than those who don't, albeit with extra effort. People often describe this as akin to a track race everyone has a different starting point and it depends on the resources they already have. Of course, a lot of times these differences are attributed to our own upbringings and backgrounds. Some may say I'm doing great, but I would say my yardstick is elsewhere. Especially in thinking critically, being knowledgeable about the world on what may seem as 'basics', and articulate my thoughts clearly and eloquently. However, as I broaden my viewpoint and seen things in different perspectives, I also realised how far behind I am from others. Although until now, still have yet to find my 'calling'.
I've joined quite a number of things, taking up new roles, and excited to try out areas beyond law soon.
I'm currently at home, going through my semester break before returning as a penultimate year student in mid-October. It's around a year since my last published post, and again, many things happened.
